Well servicing comprises the many activities performed on wells, such as completion, analysis and maintenance. This work is most often accomplished using well servicing rigs, although rigless operations are also common. Oxy manages more than 200 well servicing rigs on an average day.
Oxy has developed simple yet powerful tools and systems to drive continuous improvement in well servicing operations. These systems track the performance of each well service job and break each operation down for both time and cost analysis. Trends and results are tracked to identify the areas for improvement. In addition, the software is integrated with other systems to aid in the scheduling of well servicing operations.
